Born in 1959. in Belgrade, where she is currently residing and teaching as a professor at the University of Fine Arts.

She is a recipient of numerous international awards including: the Nikola Graovac Foundation Award, Zlatara Majdanpek Award, Mosa Piade Award, Princess Olivera Foundation Award, Golden Palette award of the City of Belgrade, ULUS Award and many others.

She has had more than 50 solo exhibitions around the world, and has participated in over 300 group exhibitions, some of which were with her husband Radomir Knezevic.

Vesna Knezevic has also done over 50 murals with her group of artists (covering 32 300 sq feet), on the territory of Europe within her project funded by the Ministry of Culture.

Some of her works now belong to various museums in Europe, Asia and South America. The latest acquisitions of this year belong to Zepter Museum of Modern Art, and the National Museum of Serbia.

Her current works are varying from the oil on canvas painting of monumental sizes, to rooms and layers of painted cellophane, to the infinity drawing project that is a continuous artwork that goes around the entire space on one paper.
